NATA Sketch development Program Orientation -

The DQLABS Sketch development course consists of the following Steps.

Step -1 Skill Assessment.

You would require answer a test send by us to you by email and send us the scanned sheets of your answers by e-mail. we will asses your strengths and weakness and design a special course for you.

Step-2 Sketch development Program.

We will give you a series of assignments and activities for you to perform. You need to do them, make powerpoint presentations / scan the images and send back to us at your convenience for feedback.

Step-3 On your Own.

After the course you can go ahead and answer the Mock tests confidently

Important - 1. make sure that you send your images to this email id only sketchevaluation@dqlabs.in

2. the scanned image size should be in JPEG format and the size should be less than 100KB. otherwise the sketches will not be evaluated.

3. send us a mail acknowledging the receipt of the assignments / mails.

4. In case you are unable to meet the deadline please inform us.

5. We will create you blog and send you the link. book mark your blog and follow it for your work documentation and further instructions / feedback.

Specific instructions to Long term Sketch development course Students-

1. Please complete your course within 3 months, counting from the day you have received your skill assesment test.
2. Max number of sketches you can submit during this course work is 75.
3.Every Saturday and Sundays are holidays. feedback on the sketches submitted on these days are updated on the blog on next working day / or as per the predefined schedule in the mail.
4. You shall receive your feedback within 5 days 0r as specified in the respective assignment.
5.In case you do not get a reply from us within 5 days after your submission, please send us a reminder mail.

Attn!!! Short term Sketch development course Students-

Specific instructions to Short term Sketch development course Students-

1. Please complete your course within 15 working days, counting from the day you have received your skill assesment test.
2. Max number of sketches you can submit during this course work is 45.
3.Every Saturday and Sundays are holidays. feedback on the sketches submitted on these days are updated on the blog on next working day / or as per the predefined schedule in the mail.
4. Only those sketches submitted before 5 pm of a day will be evaluated and posted on your blog by the following day 9 AM. If you miss this dead line you will have to wait for the next day assesment cycle to get your feedback. so ensure to submit sketches before 5 pm.
5.In case you do not get a reply from us within 2 assesment cycles / days after your submission, please send us a reminder mail.

Nata 2009 has become more tougher.

Major change is in the Sketching Test.

previous Sketching Test had 2 questions of 1 hour each. one was freehand with coloring and the other was theme sketching.

The new Sketching test has 3 questions with 2 hours 10 mins in total.the break up is as follows -Total MArks - 100Question

1 - (sample question )Imagine that your size has been reduced significantly and you are standing in a pencil box that has three pencils, one sharpener, and one compass, one small piece of paper, one eraser and one fountain pen. Draw what you would see standing inside the pencil box with the lid of the box open.50 MArks.

Question 2 - (sample question ) Draw a visually appealing composition using the five given shapes and colour it using four colours. You can use any shape more than once. However each shape has to be used at least once.25 MArks

Question 3 - (sample question) Make an interesting three dimensional stable composition using three bottles, two balls and one lampshade in the space provided. Also show the effect of light and shadow on the composition.25 MArks

The online part remains hte same. (40 questions, 60 mins, 100 marks)
